South London pair to represent GB at Audi quattro World Cup Final

Two customers, Matt Hurren, (Coulsdon Audi), and Michael Pickett (Beckenham), will represent Great Britain at the Audi quattro World Cup Final staged at the Real Club de Golf El Prat in Barcelona, Spain, over 8-9 October.

Following their success at the Audi quattro cup centre rounds at Sundridge Park back in May, and then the regional final at the London Club in July, the pair finished runners-up in the Audi quattro UK Cup Final at the Bowood Golf & Country Club earlier this month (8th September).

The pair finished on 37 points, just a single point behind the winners, over the 18-hole course, “Stableford” rules competition.

Hurren and Pickett had individually finished first and second respectively in the “S G Smith Audi Invitational” held at Sundridge Park golf club back in May, which saw six customers progress to the UK Cup Final.

Frank Ernstzen, Andrew Crawford, Robert Harris and Richard Hall were the other amateur golfers to represent us at the cup.

The Audi quattro Cup, being run for the 26th year, is the world’s largest amateur golf competition with almost 100,000 players from over 50 countries competing.

The Audi quattro World Cup Final will see Hurren and Pickett compete with 52 other countries.
