    Purchase Price Protection

    Did you know that if your vehicle is written off as the result of an accident, fire or theft, most insurance companies will only pay the current market value of the vehicle at the time of the claim and not the original purchase price you paid for it?

    The Benefits of Purchase Price Protection

    Our ‘Purchase Price Protection’ GAP will return you to the original financial position you were in when you first purchased the vehicle if your vehicle is written off and a total loss payment is made by your insurance company.

    Purchase Price Protection will pay the difference between the amount paid out by your insurance company and the original purchase price of the vehicle (subject to the terms shown within the Policy Summary). Claims payable under this policy will be made up to a maximum of £25,000, depending on your vehicle purchase price; hence providing a significant benefit to you.

    If the vehicle is subject to a finance agreement, any payment under Purchase Price Protection will be paid directly to the finance company on your behalf and if there are any excess funds, these will be sent to you directly.

    This should enable your finance agreement to be settled, leaving you to concentrate on purchasing another vehicle. If the finance settlement figure exceeds the original vehicle purchase price, this greater difference will be paid.

    Complimentary 7 Day Driveaway Insurance

    Driveaway is Comprehensive Car Insurance which Norwich Union Direct is pleased to provide FREE OF CHARGE FOR 7 DAYS whenever you purchase a new or used vehicle from Marshall Motor Group.

    It's been designed to take the hassle out of having to arrange insurance before collecting your vehicle. Driveaway is extremely convenient and it's important to note that you are under no obligation to take up annual cover after the free period.

    Simply ask your sales executive to give you the vehicle's registration details, together with their unique dealer code. Then call us FREE on 0800 015 1392 for a very competitive insurance quote and to arrange your 7 days' free cover. We'll give you a reference number over the phone and send a cover note via email to the dealership within an hour.

    Once the dealership has the cover note your new vehicle can be taxed, meaning you can drive it away on the agreed collection date with confidence.

    Please note: Annual quotes are subject to standard Norwich Union Direct terms and conditions. Under some circumstances an annual quotation cannot be offered and means that a Driveaway insurance policy will not be available to you. Only one Driveaway insurance policy is permitted per customer per vehicle registration number.

    Drive Away

    Tyre Insurance

    Cover is provided against accidental or malicious damage of the tyres on your vehicle.
    Covers the cost of repair or replacement of the 4 tyres fitted to your vehicle plus the spare or their replacements up to a maximum of £125 or £300 per tyre dependent on the level of cover chosen.
    Claims can be made up to a maximum of 5 tyres during the period of insurance.
    Claims costs for repair will also cover a new valve, if necessary, and the reasonable labour cost of fitting and balancing the new tyre.
    As long as there is still a minimum 2mm of tread remaining on the damaged tyre, there is no maximum mileage limit on the policy.

    A unique way to pay for your Servicing & MOT costs

    As a Marshall customer you know you can expect the highest levels of service. We would like to introduce you to our unique service plan which will provide you with all you would expect from Marshall and more.


    Companies have spread their servicing costs for years through leasing and contract hire agreements and now Marshall offer you the opportunity to budget your servicing and MOT costs too.

    1. Choose the term you wish to cover
    2. Estimate your annual mileage
    3. Choose whether to exclude any MOT tests


    We then estimate your servicing /MOT costs for the periods and mileage you have given and you simply spread your service costs and pay by a secure monthly direct debit.


    What is included?
    The complete cost of your standard servicing, including parts and labour, with the exception of normal wear and tear parts such as tyres, brake pads and windscreen etc.

    A service plan can be cancelled for an administration fee which will be provided on request. Payments and refunds will be calculated accordingly. Full terms and conditions are on the reverse of the service plan contract and also available on request.


    Where is my money held?
    Your money will be held in a separate client account. Interest arising on this account will be used by Marshall to offset part of the administration costs of the scheme.

    Marshall Care Comprehensive Warranty - Complete Peace of Mind

    • Covers the majority of mechanical and electrical component failure items

    • Covers full parts, labour and VAT costs with no excesses

    • No limit to the number of claims you can make; up to the original purchase price of your vehicle

    •Only manufacturer approved replacement new parts are used in a warranty repair

    •No customer contributions, where warranty repair replaces new for old parts

    • Replacement vehicle up to a mid sized saloon provided for up to 7 days in the event of a warranty repair

    • Overnight accommodation and rail fares paid up to £60 in the event the vehicle cannot be repaired under warranty within 24 hours

    • Marshall Assist Breakdown and Recovery is included within the Marshall Care Warranty on warranty terms of 12 months or more (see separate details for Marshall Assist)

    • The majority of MOT test failure items are also covered under a Marshall Care Warranty, on warranty terms of 18 months or more

    Lifetime Care

    As the original owner of the vehicle and providing you have purchased a minimum of 12 months Marshall Care Warranty you will qualify for the Lifetime Care Warranty. In order to qualify for Lifetime Care you must have your vehicle serviced by Marshall, your MOT Test Carried out by Marshall and still to be the owner of the vehicle.

    Hidden Costs of repairs

    Marshall Assist - Breakdown and Recovery

    In the unlikely event that your car breaks down, it is good to know that someone will come out to help. As part of your Marshall Care Warranty, Marshall Assist will help minimise the inconvenience and discomfort of a breakdown by providing you with comprehensive cover, 24 hours a day throughout the year within the UK. It is also worth noting that Marshall Assist covers the vehicle, so anyone who is driving your car is covered.

    ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

    If your vehicle breaks down due to mechanical or electrical failure, sustains a puncture or is involved in
    an accident, we will send help to the scene, in order that we can seek to repair the vehicle at the roadside.


    RECOVERY

    If your vehicle cannot be repaired by the roadside we will assist in the following ways:

    HOME ASSISTANCE
    We will attend your vehicle if it breaks down at your home address or within a one-mile radius.


    CARAVANS/TRAILERS

    In the event your vehicle breaks down with a caravan or trailer attached, this will be recovered at no extra cost.

    ACCIDENT COVER
    If your vehicle is involved in an accident, rendering it illegal or immobile, we will transport your vehicle
    to a nominated local address within the United Kingdom.


    PUNCTURE COVER
    If your vehicle sustains a puncture and you are unable to change the wheel, we will attend the scene
    and assist with the replacement.


    TOLL FEE'S
    In the event of a recovery, ferry and tolls paid within United kingdom and Northern Ireland will be paid for.


    MESSAGE SERVICE
    In the event of a breakdown, we will gladly pass on two messages to your home or office.
