BMW Motorrad present the latest edition to the GS family, the F 700 GS – which is the direct successor to the versatile F 650 GS, A shorter gear transmission ratio in the 75 bhp engine enhances agility while at the same time guaranteeing the bike's familiar top-class handling. This makes the F 700 GS an ideal all-round machine within the GS family, suitable for every kind of rider – no matter how experienced.
The body of the F 700 GS has been slimmed down for the latest edition, offering a more comfortable seating arrangement for the rider, as well as increasing visual appeal. Colour schemes have been carefully selected to accentuate the bike's angles and create a dominant aura. The overall impression is that this is a bike which is simply begging to be taken out and tested on the open road – or dirt track.
Comfort and handling are assured, too, thanks to various ride-enhancing features. The bike's light weight (209kg), reduced seat height and optional Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA) system offer extremely responsive handling, and make this model ideal for riders with a smaller frame. The instrument panel has also been redesigned, with new dial faces offering greater legibility than previous models.
When it comes to safety, the BMW Motorrad range leads the way, and the F 700 GS is no exception. ABS is provided as standard, meaning that emergency manoeuvres can be executed confidently and without incident. Optional features include Automatic Stability Control (ASC), which serves to further increase control over the vehicle.
With its vigorous design, efficient, powerful performance and range of comfort and safety features, the F 700 GS is an excellent all-rounder.
